Foways Notebook
Your sources. A clearer picture.
Foways Notebook is a Windows desktop research assistant for government teams that brings your sources, notes and questions into one workspace. Organise material into notebooks, explore it through conversation and review the evidence behind an answer. Your organisation provides the activation code and AI credits, so you can start without setting up a provider account.

A useful answer starts with the material you trust. Notebook keeps the documents you are reading, the notes you are making and the questions you are asking together, so each piece of research has a place to grow.
Move from a single source to a notebook-wide conversation as your question develops. Keep useful findings as notes and return to the underlying material before putting an answer to work. When you need wider context, turn on web search for that request.
One Windows installer brings the workspace to your desktop. Activate it with the code your organisation provides; AI access and credits are managed centrally, with the remaining balance visible in the app.
From a pile of sources to a line of thought.
Keep the evidence close as your understanding grows. A notebook connects the material, the conversation and the notes worth keeping.
Gather your sources
Create a notebook around a question or a project. Add the material you want to understand and keep related notes alongside it.
Ask, then follow the evidence
Explore a source in detail or ask across the notebook. Return to the referenced material to check the answer in context.
Keep a useful record
Save findings as notes and continue the research from there. Bring in web search when the question needs a wider view.

What makes it work
A home for each line of research
Group sources and notes into notebooks. Keep related material together as a brief develops, instead of rebuilding its context in every conversation.
Ask the material
Discuss an individual source or work across a notebook. Follow references back to the material and check an answer before relying on it.
Keep the useful parts
Capture findings as notes alongside your sources, ready to revisit as your understanding changes or a new question arrives.
Wider context, when you need it
A web-search switch on the chat input lets you request grounding beyond your own sources. Search availability follows your organisation’s licence.
One code to get started
Activate the computer with your organisation’s Foways code. There are no provider API keys to manage or separate AI accounts to create.
A complete desktop installation
One Windows installer brings the workspace to your computer. Get updates and check your AI credit balance inside the app.
